I'm Gracie Beaver-Kairis. I'm a lifelong Oregonian, bleeding heart animal lover, and a writer. But you knew that last part and that's probably why you're here.
My humor has been featured in McSweeneys (I had the 3rd most read piece of 2021!), Slackjaw, Points in Case, The Hard Times, and various other places on the ol' World Wide Web. I'm also the co-founder and co-editor of the pop-up humor publication 2 Ho Ho Ho's. My fiction has been published in FlashFlood and in the anthology What I Thought of Ain't Funny. I'm hard at work on writing more humor, penning a novel, and earning my MA in English. I have a BA from University of Oregon and an MS from University of Colorado. I currently live in Springfield, OR, with my husband and our two cats (Momo and Aggie) and our dog (Enzo). I am very competitive with pub trivia. |
